Message: * Dear Premier Clark, Minister Bennett and MLA Norm MacDonald: I strongly oppose the creation of the Jumbo Glacier Mountain Resort Municipality, a municipality with no residents and no infrastructure. 6131.37 hectares of public land was given away despite overwhelming public opposition and a complete lack of public consultation. The Jumbo Glacier Resort will be detrimental to the overall grizzly bear population in the Columbia Mountains. I do not believe that the value of more remote, difficult-to-access resort real estate is greater than the value of our Kootenay wilderness and its intact wildlife populations. Thank you for hearing my concerns. We owe it to future generations to keep the Jumbo Valley Wild. Yours truly,
