Subject: Keep the Jumbo Valley Wild!

Dear Premier Campbell, Minister of Tourism, and RDEK Directors,

The threat of the proposed development of the Jumbo Valley remains a very serious concern in the region and across the province. The overwhelming majority of people across the region have repeatedly stated that they want to keep the Jumbo Valley wild, without permanent resort and real estate development. The proposal is bad for the environment and bad for communities. Thousands of British Columbians have been opposed to this resort development for over two decades now. Support for a Wild Jumbo Valley is strong and continues to grow across BC and Canada.

The proposed Jumbo Glacier Resort flies in the face of your government's work on climate change other initiatives that position BC as a leader in sustainability. Please act now to reject any request by Jumbo Glacier Resort to develop infrastructure in the Jumbo Valley. This ill-conceived venture has already sucked up far too many public resources. It is time to end this proposal for good.

Thank you,
